Annettes Club installed

Annette Mithra, daughter of our member Rtn.Balamurugan, was installed as President of our Annettes Club for the Rotary year 2026-27. During the family gathering on 19 July, the outgoing President, Annette Indra, transferred the collar and gavel to Annette Mithra, with the ceremony overseen by Shobha Cecil, District Annettes Council Chairman. Annette Nithila Elumperiyar was appointed as Secretary and Annette Keshav Akilan as Treasurer.

During her acceptance speech, the newly appointed Annette President Mithra outlined her plans for the upcoming year, which include fundraising for community projects and visiting an old age home during festive periods. The event also honored the outgoing President Indra and her team for the recognition they received from Rotary District 3234 for their projects last year, which included a literacy award for book donations and a major donor award for contributing ₹1,33,500 to the polio fund.
