The baton moves on

The lights sparkled, the atmosphere was filled with positive energy, and joy enveloped everyone as friends and families came together, creating the ideal setting for the installation of Rtn. Rajan Babu as the 66th President of our Club on June 24, 2025, at Hotel GRT Grand, T.Nagar in Chennai. It was a remarkable evening as the event unfolded in a harmonious sequence of activities.

The evening commenced with a heartfelt welcome address by our outgoing President, Rtn. K Narayanan, who reflected on the past year. It was an exceptional year, marked by the addition of 9 new members and comprehensive activities across all Rotary avenues of service. This was followed by a brief presentation on the club's activities by our Club Secretary, Rtn. Parasuraman. The highlight of the evening then unfolded: the collaring of the new President, Rajanbabu, the handing over of the Club Charter to our incoming Secretary, Rtn. Sibi Rajan, and a corporate-style dynamic presentation on the upcoming year's plans by the new President. This was accompanied by the induction of 3 new members, an address by our Chief Guest, District Governor Elect Rtn. Vinod Sarogi, remarks from the incoming First Lady of the District Ann Usha Sarogi, and concluded with a vote of thanks by our incoming Treasurer and President Elect, Rtn. R Srikanth.

The event wrapped up with a delicious dinner, and everyone departed happily, embodying the Rotary theme for the year 2025-26, "Unite For Good."
