This Elocution brings Honour

On 6 December 2025, our Club's signature elocution contest titled 'Talk of the Town' took place at Asan Memorial Sr. Secondary School, located on Anderson Road, Egmore, Chennai. This event showcased the talents of 160 young minds from 14 different schools, all vying for the prestigious winner trophy.

The students began arriving at the venue from 8 am and were organised into 8 different classrooms for the preliminary round. This initial phase allowed participants to showcase their oratorical skills and compete for a chance to advance. The top performers from the preliminary round then faced off in the final competition, demonstrating their eloquence and confidence in front of a captivated audience of 200. The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm as the students delivered their speeches, all aiming for the coveted trophy.

In the end, Aathifa Raihana from St.Antony's Anglo Indian School, Egmore and Rajaganesh B from Sri Sankara Matriculation Hr. Secondary School, Thoraipakkam won the trophy for English and Tamil Elocution respectively.

Honour Book

They also signed the 'Honour Book', the distinct privilege only for the winners to sign a book of winners that will record winners over the years. They will be part of the history of the Club.
