AC & Refrigeration Lab inaugurated

15 August 2025 marked a new beginning for our Club as we inaugurated the AirConditioner & Refrigeration Lab at Swami Vivekananda Rural Community College in Marakanam near Puduchery. This lab will teach AC and Refrigeration Servicing skills to fifty students from in and around Chennai and Puducherry.

Our Club President Rajanbabu commented "What makes this initiative truly special is that the students—many of whom are school or college dropouts from deserving backgrounds—are not only trained in technical skills, but also in yoga, life skills, and human values". Rtn. S R

Madhu, our Club's Programme Chairman commented "Historically, the vocational training course in AC and refrigeration has been one of our best projects. Reason: 100 per cent success from the standpoint of the candidates. They got jobs promptly (some of them in Dubai) or were self-employed and did well. Hearty congrats to the president and thd vocational service team.

Our President Elect R. Srikanth had identified this project and it is sponsored by Acsys CSR Initiative. Rtns. Somdev Goyal and Jenson Peters joined the inauguration event held at the institute.
