RYLA oh RYLA

RYLA, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is an interesting concept from Rotary that aims to impart leadership skills among youth through motivational sessions and talks by leaders in society.

On 7 February 2026, our Club organised RYLA for the class 11 students of AKG Public School and Asan Memorial Sr Secondary School at the AKG Public School auditorium. It turned out to be massive hit among the students and they expressed enthusiasm attending the award they deserved. Certainly an awesome investment of time for return of lifetime learning and leadership understanding.

In the words of our Club President R Rajanbabu who curated the RYLA programme, “RYLA — A deeply satisfying day for us southerners, as we were able to help children visualize their future and understand what they need to focus on at this stage of life through RYLA.” That’s sums up the experience.
